Client: Mr. Gaby Kikano
In order to stop any possible future slope stability failure, particularly at the location of a power line tower, IGM was contracted to strengthen permanently an existing shotcrete and nailed wall. The operation was done in an unconventional way by working upward with a small drill rig on a well designed scaffolding system. That could occur to the 15m cut supposed to be retained previously. Within the same site a high retaining wall problem was solved by installing permanent nails and backfilling with lightweight soil/tire mixture!
