The excavation needed for the new building was about 8m deep. The challenge lies in excavating adjacent to a 10 story concrete building with shallow foundations. Int’l I.G.M. designed and constructed a shoring system consisting of micropiles (60, L=11m.), anchors (40, L=11m avg) and nails (35, L=10 m.) with a shotcrete wall.
