An old bridge in Nigeria is to be fixed and widened. Dr. Ballouz visited the site and suggested the means for remediation. Strengthenning of the foundations with large diameter piles, strengthenning the girders with CFRP inserts, uplifting and installing new neoprene bearing pads.
